Greenfield Village is an exciting part of The Henry Ford, a major destination in Detroit incorporating exhibits, historic buildings, and other visitor attractions. Marc Dutton Irrigation, Inc. installed the dramatic entry fountain to Greenfield Village, completing the work during the cold winter months so the fountain would be ready for Spring opening.
The Dutton experts participated in a team effort with a “get it done no matter what it takes” to meet the clients requirements. The concrete work was done under heated tents and crews worked continuously through all types of weather conditions.
The fountain’s multi-tier design creates a dramatic base capped with 15 nozzles topped with 4” frothy bell assemblies. The effect is dramatic and eye-catching. The water cascades down the brick steps in swirling and rushing patterns creating additional visual appeal. Dramatic night lighting enhances visitors enjoyment of the fountain after dusk.
